What day is the embryo?
We believe that after the ovum is selected and the ICSI process begins, many parents may be worried, wondering, and waiting to count the days when our embryos will grow up well.
N.I.C IVF CLINIC brings you all to see the growth of the embryo after the ICSI procedure, where we will raise the embryo until the DAY 5 phase, also known as the Blastocyst stage, which is the most suitable stage for implantation in the uterus.
DAY 1
DAY 1 of embryo or embryo that has been fertilized by ICSI for 1 day. There is a total of 2 circles in the middle. A circle is a nucleus that comes from the father. The other circle is the nucleus coming from the mother. This we will call 2 pronuclear or 2PN.
DAY 3
This image is of a DAY 3 embryo, or embryo that has been fertilized by ICSI for 3 days. This stage of embryo development is medically known as the cleavage stage.
The embryo is divided into four grades, grades 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Grade 1 is the best grade, and in this picture, the embryo divides into 8 cells, Grade 1 because the cells are similar in size. It also contains less than 10% of internal rupture of cells.
DAY 5
This is a picture of DAY 5 of the embryo or an embryo that has been fertilized by ICSI for 5 days. The embryo is divided into grades A, B, C, and D, with good grades being A and B grades.
The embryo in this picture is an AA grade, meaning the cells that will grow into a child. And the placenta can grow well in both parts.
A grade AA embryo, if transferred back into the uterus, has a high chance of conceiving, or in the event of a chromosomal examination, has a high chance of returning normal results
